• A tale of three lobbies
Norwegians are often told of the US Israel-Lobby. But this is not the only lobby out there. The Jerusalem Post recently published an article on the US Arab-Lobby. Excerpt: Both the pro-Israel and pro-Arab lobby (really lobbies because there are several for each) are indeed powerful, but there is a big difference – a difference […]

  • Norvège: une convertie à l’Islam décrit un antisémitisme primaire
It is worthwhile to recall that anti-Semitism in Norway goes back to 1814, when our first constitution declared that Jews and Jesuits not be allowed access to the realm. Likewise one can hardly blame the Norwegian Muslims for how, during WWII, nazi-collaborators sent 700 Norwegian Jews to their deaths. And perhaps most importantly: contemporary anti-Semitism […]
  • LMD claims Israel ‘spies out European telecommunications’
Norway has been nervously peeping at Russia since 1965, when the Marjata, a former whaler, was converted into a spyship. LMD now encourages Norwegians to be shocked over how Israel also has intelligence operations. Not only does Israel control US politics, wield mighty “miracle socks”, pester the Palestinians with savage “Homo-imperalism”, and fail […]

  • Scandinavian democracy – a guided affair
Screenshots from Norwegian newspapers Aftenposten and DagenMagazinet Not even in Scandinavia does democracy work flawlessly. Is there an invisible hand at work? In the screenshot above (left) we see an op-ed from yesterday’s Aftenposten, with Eirik Vatnøy from Civita, a liberal think tank, asking some rather poignant questions. Vatnøy points out that it appe […]
  • Washington Post on terrorism in Norway

Malmö: Ever since I came here people have been shouting ‘fucking Jew’ at me

Anyone concerned for the re-emergence of anti-Semitism in Scandinavia who is not reading Sweden, Israel and the Jews is robbing themselves blind. If you follow Sweden, this is the place to go. Ilya Meyer has a larger archive. On the other hand Norwegian newspapers, with exception being made for Aftenposten, are not particularly interested in Malmö at all. Why is that?

Excerpt from Sweden, Israel and the Jews:

One of those exposed to anti-Semitic hate crime is Rabbi Shneur Kesselman of the Malmö Jewish community. He states in an interview with Expressen on March 5th that “ever since I came here people have been shouting ‘fucking Jew’ and ‘heil Hitler’ at me.”

Remember that next time you read a Astrid Lindgren novel. Now everbody out there, stick up for your fellow man.Yes, that means you.

That’s right.

  • Many years ago I always thought that Sweden and also Norway was a kind of boring although tranquil countries.
Both Sweden and Norway have manifested themselves into one of the most anti-semitic places to live as jews in the western world today. I would now think twice before visiting these countries on business as I always wear a Kippa (scull-cap) which would easily indentify myself as being Jewish, my family have also had their fair share of Jew-Hatred ie. persecution and terror meted out to us by our arab countrymen before we all fled our arab homeland in the 1950s. I only travel on business now with my companion protector-bodyguard dog a massive creature weighing in excess of some 125-130kg he was army trained in protection work, therefore any one whether a muslim hating jew or extreme right wing individuals whom decide to attack me would be in for a serious shock.

  • Dear Samir

It is my sincere conviction that you will be able to wear the Kippa in most of Scandinavia without encountering any problems. On the other hand I absolutely see how a Kippa-wearing person would be at risk while moving around in say Oslo east or Malmö. This is of course an intolerable state of affairs, a liberal democracy cannot have allow majority populations to establish “no-go” zones for other groups of people. 125-130 kg is very heavy for a dog.

    Best regards
    Christian
