Now far more civilians have been killed in Afghanistan than during Cast Lead. The difference between the wars in Afghanistan and Gaza does of course not lie with the tactics of the enemy - both Hamas and the Taliban hide behind the civilian population - but the war in Afghanistan involves Norwegian soldiers whereas the war in Gaza involved Israeli soldiers. So fighting the Taliban for Norway in Afghanistan is ok, according to the Norwegian Red Cross, but fight the genocidal Hamas in Gaza and you face scrutiny for war-crimes. You could not make this up.
