Blitz casts itself as an autonomous movement, but is funded with public money. Blitz claims to be anti-fascist, yet demonstrates obvious fascist traits itself.
In the screenshot above we see Blitz calling sympathizers to arms against the Norwegian Defence League (NDL). NDL appears to be inspired by the English movement with a similar name, the English Defence League, and planned to organize a demonstration against “islamization” in Oslo tomorrow. From what Israelwhat.com understands, the police has discouraged the planned demonstration. This might be a good idea – nobody can mobilize boots on the ground like Blitz.
As for Blitz, it is a pro-youth, pro-rebellion movement which is against big business, USA and Israel. People associated with Blitz are dogmatic rather than intellectual and favor direct action over quiet contemplation. Blitz uses a distinctively martial language, speaking of fronts (against Israel) and “solidarity brigades” (sent to the West Bank). If Blitz brands you as a fascist, you better watch your step in and around Oslo.
