Faremo to reassess Synagogue security needs

– Is in constant contact with police and the Police Security Services.

The Minister of Justice Grete Faremo (Labour) is reviewing the safety precautions in place for the Synagogue in Oslo, and is in constant contact with the police and the police and the security services.

Earlier this year, the Jewish community asked for support for security measures at the synagogue in Oslo. Previously, the community was denied such support for enhanced access control, as well as physical and electronic protection against intruders in community centers.

The Ministry of Justice has now confirmed that it will be carrying out a review of threats made against the community as well as a new assessment for the need for support, Vårt Land writes.
Faremo did not say how long time the reassessment will take. The Ministry’s information service does not wish to comment why the reassessment of the security is carried out again.

- We cannot comment on the background for our safety assessments. In general, the police continually evaluates the need to implement any special safety and protective measures. Ministry of Justice has an ongoing dialogue with the Police Security Service and the Police Directorate to ensure the necessary level of security, the Ministry’s information department said.

In a speech at the commemoration of the Holocaust Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg (Labour)
said that no one, including Jews, should feel unsafe in Norway. Member of Parliament, Hans Olav Syversen (Christian Democrats), believes Stoltenberg’s words should be of importance for the Ministry’s assessment.

Very nice, but how long will it take? Who will educate the parliamentarians about the true state of affairs that Israel faces? Can they be bothered? Don’t hold your breath.

I was not born a cynic. I became one after I peeled away the veneer to see if it held substance. I note that the mainline churches in the USA are all anti Israel, including Norway’s main church, the Lutherans. They all front the PLO and support it and the continue to spew hatred against the Jewish state.

Yes, one thing I must declare for Christianity, Jew hatred is a fine old tradition going back 2000 years. It will continue for the next 2000 years, that is if Islam allows it to continue.

    Martin,

The “mainline” churches in the USA (Methodist, Episcopal, ELCA, UCC and Presbyterian) are dying. Even with the Lutherans, the largest denomination is the conservative Missouri Synod branch of the church.

Where I live in NJ, not far from me are a Methodist Church and a Presbyterian Church. I have been outside them when services ended. A few families to be sure, but mostly elderly people. Not favorable demographics for these churches.

The growing churches are the Evangelical churches, which are conservative and pro-Israel. Yet American Jews trash these people as stupid, ignorant racist rednecks.

    Go figure.

I have met Evangelical pastors from the US who inform methat they have excellent relations with the local jewish synagogues. Pastor and Rabbi visit each others place of worship and even gice sermons. That is incredible.

I have evangelical friends here in the UK, who are very positive about Israel and pray for her and the Jewish people. They see the Pope as the devil. Detest the Muslim emplire. and quite honestly, I prefer many of them to the lefty yidden.

The is a website, Jerusalemonline, where a Swede called Dan posts his comments. He used to live in Jerusalem and worked for the International Church. He too, has a love for Israel and the Jewish nation. So yes, although the mainline churches still find it impossible to love all mankind including the Jews, a sizeable minority do so and show it.
Yep, I figured it long ago, US Jews prefer the Democrats whoare usually pro Arab. They are out of the ghetto physically, but not mentally.

American Jews are doing what Jews have always done to advance — they convert to the dominant religion of the elites.

    Today that religion is leftism/Marxism.

The strange thing is — in America, they would do perfectly fine as believing Jews.
