“A thorough confrontation is needed, not only because of the country’s Jewish minority, but also other minorities subject to racism today. In the light of the depressing findings to be read in the recent report by the Holocaust Center over prejudices towards both new and old minorities, any further public conversation on Hamsun should be conducted with some sensitivity”.
