Dagbladet delights its readers with blood libel cartoons

Sales continue to drop, no amount of silly sex stuff or football nonsense can improve the commercial agony, even after they fired half the journalists. Perhaps Dagbladet’s editor think their fortunes can be reversed by serving some blood libelous cartoons to Norwegian readers?

” The Simon Wiesenthal Center denounces the blood libel cartoon published in Dagbladet, so virulently anti-Semitic it would make Hitler and Himmler weep tears of joy,” said rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish Human Rights NGO,  who is currently attending the Global Forum on Antisemitism in Jerusalem.  “We call upon Norway’s leaders to denounce this incitement to hate and especially urge the Ombudsman for Children’s Rights to denounce this outrageous denigration of a core Jewish rite dating back to the biblical times of Abraham”, Cooper added.

    McG:

Face the sad fact. You live in a Nazi state. And they are proud of it.

I am going to send this to the Israeli embassy in the USA, and ask Ambassador Oren (as Ambassador to the USA, you have to think he is very high in the Foreign Ministry) why Israel continues to have diplomatic relations with Norway.

At this point, I have frankly stopped being disgusted with Norway, because it is obvious that the elites have no shame and no morals, only hate.

So why does Israel put up with this?

What is the point of even calling this “cartoon” outrageous? The point is, whether or not norwegian believes she lives in a decent democracy or not, Norway is really a most disgusting country with a thick streak of hate running throughout it’s soul.

I do feel for the tiny minority of Norwegians who will probably feel shame and disgust. This kind of behaviour has gone on for so long now that it has become the norm. Yes, it is Norwegian humour that they find it so funny when one of their top so called comedians makes a joke about fleas being persecuted as they go into the chambers with the Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Morality, ethics, decency, have no meaning in this godforsaken country. It makes me puke. Even my wife who is Norwegian had a very quiet 17th May, she is unable to understand just what has happened to her country since she left it in 1973. Not for nothing do I no linger meet with decent Norwegian friends to help celebrate their Independence day.

Norwegians had it pretty easy as an occupied territory of the Third Reich. Now we know why.

Eric R, I am ashamed that Israel even still accepts Norway as a trading partner, let alone has a diplomatic mission. Close the door on Norway, lock it up and throw the damn key away.

Eric R no doubt about it at all as to which country becomes the loser should diplomatic relations become redundant.

I haven’t checked out The Local se and the local no on the web for quite awhile. I did so this evening. On the Norwegian site, firstly ex Norwegian PM says that Mrs Thatcher was no role guide for her. Of course, Maggie was a right wing minister while GGro Harlem Brundtland was an extreme leftwinger ( great friend of Arafat, whom she was so pleased and honoured to meet and wear the jewellery he gave her. She made no mention of the late Golda Meir ex Prime minister who was a socialist.

I digress though. On the local no I noticed an article concerning Israeli startups in high tech industries, from an article on the website techweekeurope.co.uk. If ever proof was needed as to which country will be the loser all round, then look no further.
As Norway has slammed the door shut, let her retain her little provincial outlook on life, she deserves it. Oil, fishing, cruise liners and timber and that’s it.

Hateful jealousy reigns supreme in Norway

In contrast to the Mohammed caricatures, this cartoon targets the people, it demonizes the ethnic group (much wider than the religious practice) as vile baby-torturers.

The cartoonist wouldn’t have made such a gross cartoon and the editors not allowed it without expecting sympathy from a large portion of their readers, and that is the saddest message from Dagbladet.

It is a blatant piece of evidence of the deeply rooted anti-Semitism in Norway.

The low threshold for a major Norwegian daily to build on prejudice and demonize an ethnic (not religious in Norway) group scares me.

“The shit has finally hit the fan, this cartoon has become world wide now. Yes the image of Norway is a big improvement…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………within the Islamic world.”

And that’s the point. The Norwegians want to win the favor of their future overlords.
