  • Malmö: Ever since I came here people have been shouting ‘fucking Jew’ at me
Anyone concerned for the re-emergence of anti-Semitism in Scandinavia who is not reading Sweden, Israel and the Jews is robbing themselves blind. If you follow Sweden, this is the place to go. Ilya Meyer has a larger archive. On the other hand Norwegian newspapers, with exception being made for Aftenposten, are not particularly interested in [...] […]
  • ‘Jews themselves wrote lists of whom were to die in concentration camps’
The University of Oslo wants to fire a history professor – appearently for having violated its health, environment and safety (HES) code. Protesters say this has nothing to do with HES and everything to do with the Univeristy curtailing the freedom of expression of its staff. One of the protestors is Professor of Law Jan [...] […]
  • Norwegian funnymen fearful of insulting Muhammed
Norwegian comedian Thomas Seltzer. Picture from NRK P3. In 2006 funnyman Otto Jespersen demonstrated his courageous wit by torching the Bible. When asked why he did not burn the Koran, he replied: “We considered that too, but could not get hold of a copy. What is more I am 52 years old now and reckon [...] […]
  • Støre and Syria, Bishops’ Boycott
FM Jonas Gahr Støre met with Syria’s FM Muallem on Monday8th. Nothing much in the media about that, not at all. Syria hardly registers at all. In the clip above you see a program from Syrian television. Does not this look like the kind of society Norwegians ought to be worried over? Remember [...] […]

Qassam rockets: from Ynet news Dagbladet reports on how freelancing journalist Yngvild Mortensen has her knickers in a twist as Israel refuses to grant her press accreditation. Dagbladet attributes this picture to Gaza, by Reuters, Elilana Aponte and Scanpix. The picture above is from an article in Dabladet titled “New peace talks between Israelis and Palestinians“. • FM Støre, Dr Mads, Syversen on the Bishops’ Boycott

  • Editor slams Bishops’ Boycott
DagenMagazinet For Vebjørn Selbekk “freedom of expression” is more than just words, as is “courage”. After publishing an article on the cartoon-war in 2006, he became embroiled in it himself, receiving only luke-warm support from the Norwegian intelligensia and political establishment as he stood up for his editorial right to publish news-stories on relevant […]

Wall Street Journal on Malmö anti-Semitism

Do not go gently into that horrid night

The Wall Street Journal does not often acknowledge the existence of the Scandinavian countries. It does so now. The scandalous events in Malmö has seen to that. Perhaps soon, WSJ will pick up on the situation in Norway. God knows we have the material.

Excerpt from the article [...]

New blog:Malmö mayor blames Israel-Lobby

From left: Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Tip of Denmark to the south.

The Swedish city of Malmö is increasingly becoming an example of how the multicultural society is not intended to work. Rather than getting along nicely, Malmö has lately been witnessing increasing levels of muslim anti-Semitism. According to Mayor Ilmar Reepalu, who previously has [...]

Aftenposten covers anti-Semitism in Malmö

Aftenposten today publishes a story on anti-Semitism in Malmö. On the one hand this is good: Aftenposten is one of Norway’s largest newspapers and the situation in Malmö has up to now received little – if any – attention from the Norwegian media. On the other hand this is old news – why are Norwegian [...]

Norwegian company gets contract in Malmö

The Norwegian media insists on not covering the anti-Semitic incidents in Malmö. They do however mention the city in other contexts. Ilya Meyer, a Swedish blogger, presents the situation very well in Sweden at [...]

Document.no on Malmö: The Jews are again the canary-birds

The establishment ignores not only Document.no’s Hans Rustad, but the issues that he deals with. This is hugely unfortunate. An excerpt from The Jews are again the canary-birds:

It is true: Jews are leaving Malmö and many are leaving Sweden. They dare not live there, first [...]

Jews leave Malmö, Sweden

In February 2009 the Progress Party pointed to the Swedish city of Malmö as an example of how integration is more challenging than it is political correct to observe.  More to the point, Progress Party leader Siv Jensen claimed that Malmö was an example of how also Norway may be stealth-Islamized in the future.  Siv [...]

Aftonbladet: Organ trade outside of Israel? No thanks!

Editor Jan Helin of Swedish Aftonbladet was only too happy to publish Donald Boström’s science fiction story about Israeli soldiers killing Palestinians in order to steal their organs. The same editor completely disregards real-life stories about organ trade involving destitute Palestinians selling their organs at flesh-markets in Jordan and Egypt. Why is this, one might [...]

Aftonbladet continues to ignore criticism of Bostöm article

Swedish Aftonbladet has been ignoring criticism of Boström’s article for a long time now. Jan Helin, editor of Sweden’s largest newspaper even refuses to reply – see letters from Andrea Levin on CAMERA or below.

It is characteristic of the state of affairs in Norway,  neighboring upon Sweden, that reactons are more visible in the Wall Street Journal See than they are [...]

Scandinavian shame – the Boström affair

Norwegian newspapers never made much of a fuss over Donald Boström. Perhaps we ought to be grateful they did not offer him a job? Vigilant little Document.no is on the case however. From a recent article on Donald Boström:

Swedish News Agency does not recognize Israel

Ms Ada E. Yonath from Israel won the Nobel Prize in chemistry today, along with Mr Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, from the UK and Mr Thomas A. Steitz from the USA. Only TT (Swedish News Agency) did not mention Ms Yonath’s home country, saying only “Jerusalem”.
